Gabriel G. Carvalho
Computer Vision Data Scientist | Researcher

Bio: I am currently working as a Senior Researcher at IDLab, with experience in Image Processing, Machine/Deep Learning, Computational Photography, Data Science/Analysis, and GIS (Geographic Information System). My background is in mathematics (B.Sc. and M.Sc.), with a focus on differential geometry and topology, and I hold a Ph.D. degree in physics/relativistic astrophysics from the University of Rome "La Sapienza", under the supervision of Prof. Remo Ruffini and D. Bini. My current interests are computational photography, computer vision, machine learning, quantum computing, data science, differential geometry, topology, mathematical aspects of general relativity, and alternative theories of gravity.
